VESPERS
Opening Prayers
Deacon: Arise! Master, give the blessing!
Priest: Glory to the holy, consubstantial, life-giving and undivided Trinity, always, now and ever and unto the ages of ages.
Chor: Amen.
Deacon and Priest: O come, let us worship God our King. O come, let us worship and fall down before Christ, our King and our God. O come, let us worship and fall down before Christ himself, our King and our God. O come, let us worship and fall down before him.
Introductory Psalm: (Psalm103)

Service actions
In response to the words of the priest the choir, on behalf of the praying, sings Psalm 103, called Introductory (in practice only selected verses of the Psalm are sung).

Chor: Bless the Lord, my soul! O Lord my God, you have been greatly magnified. You have clothed yourself with thanksgiving and majesty, making spirits his Angels and a flame of fire his Ministers,. How your works have been magnified, O Lord. Waters will stand upon the mountains. With wisdom you have made them all. Glory be to you O Lord Who hath created all. Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. Both now and for ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen. Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia. Glory to you, O God. (three times).
