Mammals ancestors, bloody bumblebee, elevator of doom, bubbles made of ivory, and the longest compounded rhyme in English on Russian rock scene - those are only few figures of the hard/heavy/stoner/grunge band Underthals’ first EP. It’s charged with very diverse moods, from bitterness and repulsion to tasty joke, from doubt and qualm to emotional overload and then burst. It’s the four-part composition of hard and heavy melodies, swinging, seducing here and epic, invocatory there. It’s the young sand whale either hanging in boundless depths or rapidly cutting through them.
